Preparing to travel abroad is always so exciting! If you are like me, you are trying to figure out how to get as many wardrobe looks in your bag as possible so you will be ready for all of the activities to come. As someone who has given this tons of thought, I am giving you my top three international travel wardrobe tips.

Plan Your Perfect Travel Outfit Abroad
1. Pack garments made from light, flowy material
I recommend packing garments made from light, flowy material because not only do they take up less space in your bag, but they will also allow you to layer to make different outfits. In the summertime, the items will keep you cool. If you are traveling during colder months still pack a few lightweight garments to layer with cardigans and heavier jackets. This is one of my favorite dresses to travel with. It is lightweight, comes in tons of colors, and is a great price!

2. Pack solid colors
I typically try to pack garments that are mostly solid colors, with just a couple of pieces with print. I stick with my preferred neutral colors: black, nude, olive green, and cream. This will allow you to mix, match, and layer your pieces to make many different travel outfits using point three below.

3. Pack lots of jewelry, scarves and fun lip colors
This is my favorite packing tip because jewelry, scarves and lip colors take up less space that adding a lot of additional clothing items to your bag. These items will allow you to change the look of similar travel outfits by switching your jewelry, adding or taking away a scarf, or adding a colorful lip color! The outfit possibilities instantly become endless with the addition of these three essentials in your bag.
